La Gomera Island Tour
What's Included
Experience a different world on La Gomera, Tenerife's closest neighbor. This full-day adventure takes you from the bustling ports of Tenerife to the misty, ancient laurel forests and deep ravines of the "Columbus Island."
The Journey Begins
After an early pick-up, we board the ferry in Los Cristianos for a scenic 50-minute crossing. Keep your eyes on the water—this channel is famous for whale and dolphin sightings. We arrive in the charming capital, San Sebastián, where Christopher Columbus made his final stop before discovering the Americas.
Enchanted Forests & Traditions
We journey into the heart of the island to Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll walk through the ancient Laurisilva forest, a prehistoric ecosystem that looks like a misty fairy tale.
Local Flavors & El Silbo
No visit to La Gomera is complete without tasting the local cuisine. We stop at a traditional restaurant for a 3-course lunch. During your meal, you will witness a live demonstration of El Silbo Gomero—the unique whistling language used by islanders for centuries to communicate across deep valleys.
Historical San Sebastián
Before returning, we explore the landmarks of the capital, including the 15th-century Torre del Conde fortress and the Church of the Assumption, before catching the afternoon ferry back to Tenerife.
